Disney animator Dale Baer passes away

Professional Disney animator Dale Baer passes away at 70.

The longtime animator for Walt Disney Company Dale Baer has passed away at the age of 70.

Baer worked for the company since the 1970s.

His first project for the company was ‘Robin Hood’ and he continued working on ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’, ‘The Rescuers’, and ‘The Black Cauldron’ throughout the rest of the 70s and the 80s.

He has also been the animator for ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘The Lion King’.

Baer received several awards, including the Annie Award in 2001 and the Winsor McCay Award in 2016.

The veteran animator’s latest project was ‘Bob’s Burger: The Movie’, scheduled to be released in 2021.
